TRANCO CARES

BOARD MEMBERS

Denise Trantham | VICE-CHAIRMAN

Although Denise and her family have been involved in transportation for over 35 years, her primary job for the last 30 years has been as an educator in the elementary and middle school settings. With her background, it isn’t surprising that Denise is drawn to philanthropic endeavors geared toward children, particularly those focusing on early childhood education. Denise is also passionate about continuing education as she feels that lifelong learning has a significant impact on one’s health by reducing the risk of developing dementia as a person ages. While education is a priority for Denise, sustainability is also an effort she champions.  Without sustainability, she feels we compromise the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Denise upholds that focusing on the tenants of health, education and sustainability supported through Tranco Cares, the older, wiser ones of our community have an opportunity to educate and support our children to live long and prosper.
